Accepting that there would be small mistakes here and there, the CM said that the government would rectify them. The CM asked the opposition members to raise the level of debate in the House instead of going for shortcuts.

Mentioning about the overseas education scholarships, the Chief Minister said that earlier the assistance was up to Rs 10 lakh and the number of beneficiaries was restricted.
“Now, the state government enhanced it to Rs 20 lakh and there is no restriction on the number of beneficiaries,” he said. He said that no other government in the country was giving such a financial assistance to the students.
Earlier, Roads and Buildings Minister T Nageswara Rao, who was replying to the question, said that there were no irregularities in the examination.
Sampath Kumar said that TSPSC secretary Vani Prasad had issued a press release stating that there were some irregularities with regard to use of whitener, coding, decoding of the OMR sheets.
He asked as to how the minister can say that there were no irregularities when the government had submitted affidavit in the Court.
He alleged the women applicants were asked to remove mangalsutras for entering the examination hall. He demanded the government to take up reexamination.
Nageswara Rao said that the government had no intention to play with the lives of youth. If there are any such irregularities, the government apologises to the applicants, he said.
