KCR said that the government is all set to construct Integrated Secretariat complex in the Bison Polo Grounds and added that Hyderabad is an international city now.

Countering the Opposition on the same, he cited the examples of the Karnataka, Tamil Nadu's advanced Assembly structures while also mentioning Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s positive opinion on constructing an Assembly building with advanced features.

The Chief Minister further alleged that the current Secretariat lacked amenities and also that there is a problem for the rescue team to come to aid in case of a possible fire break-out. He said that the new secretariat building is going to be constructed with good Vaastu and with all the HODs in the Assembly building.
