Information Technology Minister K T Rama Rao on Wednesday said that even Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Congress president Sonia Gandhi know that K Chandrashekar Rao will be the Chief Minister of Telangana even in 2019.
Hyderabad: Information Technology Minister K T Rama Rao on Wednesday said that even Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Congress president Sonia Gandhi know that K Chandrashekar Rao will be the Chief Minister of Telangana even in 2019.
Addressing a gathering of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders, who joined the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) on Wednesday at Telangana Bhavan, Rama Rao said it was sure that the TRS is going to come to power in 2019 elections and that K Chandrashekar Rao will be the Chief Minister again. He took exception to the family rule jibe by former TDP leader A Revanth Reddy on TRS government. He said, “A leader joining the Congress is talking of family rule in other parties, which is something weird. Is it not family rule of Rahul Gandhi?”
Rama Rao alleged that the Congress which is known for scams is joined by another scamster. He alleged that Revanth Reddy was caught in the cash for votes case. Rahul Gandhi could not help the Congress, what is Revanth Reddy going to do, Rama Rao questioned. He said the TRS would win in Kodangal whenever bye-elections are announced.
