KCR release funds to Yadadri Power Plant

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Friday released the funds for the construction of Yadadri Power Plant. Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd., (BHEL) were given the works in this regard with KCR handing over ta cheque of Rs. 417 cr. to BHEL Chief Managing Director (CMD). Speaking on the same, the Chief Minister said that the announcement was made to ensure transparency.

Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd., (BHEL) were given the works in this regard with KCR handing over ta cheque of Rs. 417 cr. to BHEL Chief Managing Director (CMD). Speaking on the same, the Chief Minister said that the announcement was made to ensure transparency.
He added that they are focusing on bringing up the power plant as early as possible since the power needs of the state are bound to increase by next year. KCR informed that all the formalities and the land required for the plant have been acquired.
