e-Yantra faculty team from GITAM University, Hyderabad, won class ‘A’ award with a cash prize as one of the toppers in the All-India Task-based Training (TBT-2017) conducted by IIT Bombay and sponsored by Ministry of Human Resource Development. 

Hyderabad: e-Yantra faculty team from GITAM University, Hyderabad, won class ‘A’ award with a cash prize as one of the toppers in the All-India Task-based Training (TBT-2017) conducted by IIT Bombay and sponsored by Ministry of Human Resource Development.

The team consisted of four Assistant Professors---Manigandan Meyyappan (Department of EEE), Shaik Jhani Bhasha (ECE), Srinivas Reddy Annappalli ( CSE) and Kiran Kumar Abbili (Mechanical Engineering). The team members attended ICT workshop at IIT Bombay on June 23 and 24. Later they successfully completed the six tasks (15 days a task), consisting of hands-on experiments on the Firebird V Robot. They stood among the top teams to win the award.
