KCR to invite PM Modi for laying the new Secretariat building’s foundation stone
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao clarified during the ongoing State Legislative Assembly session that there is no going back on the decision to construct a new Secretariat at Bison Polo Grounds.

Ignoring the objections raised by BJP members, KCR mentioned that no other state in the country has a bad Secretariat building as Telangana and announced that he would Prime Minister Narendra Modi for laying the Secretariat’s foundation stone.
He further shared that the present Secretariat building doesn’t have permission from the Municipal Corporation nor has space to move fire tenders which might pose a threat in case of fire mishaps.
BJP members G Kishan Reddy and K Laxman opposed the idea of the new Secretariat and urged the state government to withdraw the proposal. To this, the Chief Minister responded by saying that the government would go ahead with its plans of the construction of the new Secretariat asserting that Vaastu is not the lone factor behind it.
