A family of five drowned in a tank at Gangavathi in Karnataka. The family hailed from Hyderabad and were on a visit to their grandmother’s town Gangavathi for gowri pooja.
However, they drowned in a tank when they went for a swim.
The deceased were identified as Raghavender, Ashish, Pravalika, Pavitra and Pavani. The dead bodies were shifted to Hyderabad.
