Addressing the Assembly Session during the Question Hour, Congress MLA Jeevan Reddy alleged that the state government failed to provide the subsidy, bonus and minimum support price (MSP) to the farmers whose crops got affected due to unseasonal and untimely rains.
He further announced that the Congress party was staging a walk-out.
Responding to the allegations, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao said that ‘Rythu Samanvaya Committee' has already been formed in this regard and will be looking after all the issues related to the farmers’ concerns.
