Congress to organise 'Walk for 12 percent Muslim Reservation' today
To pressurise the TRS Government to implement the promised 12% reservation in jobs and education, Congress party is organising a \'Walk for 12% Muslim Reservation\' from Charminar to Gandhi Bhavan on Saturday.
Hyderabad : To pressurise the TRS Government to implement the promised 12% reservation in jobs and education, Congress party is organising a 'Walk for 12% Muslim Reservation' from Charminar to Gandhi Bhavan on Saturday.
Senior leaders including AICC Secretary R.C. Khuntia, TPCC President Capt. N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, CLP leader K. Jana Reddy, Leader of Opposition in Council Shabbir Ali and all legislators, ex-ministers, ex-MLAs and other leaders are likely to participate in the Walk, informed Greater Hyderabad Congress Committee (GHCC) Minorities Department chairman Shaik Abdullah Sohail today.
He said that the Walk also commemorates the birth anniversary of Moulana Abul Kalam Azad, eminent freedom fighter and first Education Minister of Independent India. The Walk will culminate into a public meeting at Prakasam Hall in Gandhi Bhavan.
