Following the continuous complaints about the administration slowdown in the wake of the Assembly and Legislative Council proceedings, the winter session which was supposed to head for 50 days is to be reduced to 30 days.

A decision will be made in this regard by the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) at its meeting on November 17. As per the sources, the session is likely to end on November 23.

The government programmes including the appointment of farmer coordination committees, revenue records cleaning program are witnessing a drastic slowdown and with all the concerned officials present in the House to provide answers to questions posed by members of both Assembly and Council eventually affecting the daily administrative work.

Now, that the complaints of delay in the administration are mounting, the state government is set to cut short the winter session.
