A former BJP leader allegedly forced two Dalit youths to take a dip in a dirty pond for entering his sand quarry without permission.This incident took place in Abhangapatnam village of Navipet Mandal, Nizamabad district on September 16, the video has now gone viral.

The video also shows former district general secretary of the party, Bharat Reddy abusing the two youths and beating them with a cane.

Following this, the dalit organizations are staging protests demanding his arrest. While the police have registered a case based on the complaint lodged by the Dalit leaders, the youths, however refused to lodge a complaint against Bharat Reddy.

The duo has been identified as K Lakshman and Rajesh, who had allegedly gone to the quarry, to enquire if they had the necessary permission to mine sand. But the workers at the quarry suspected them to be thieves and reported the matter to Bharat Reddy, who beat them with a stick.

Later, he took them to a dirty pond and forced them to take a dip in it. The video shows the two youngsters begging his pardon but to no avail.
