Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Monday responded to the opposition allegations in the Legislative Assembly regarding the farmers burdened with interest on farm loan waived by TRS Government.

Dismissing the allegations, KCR said that the government has inquired into it and have not come across such instances where the farmers are bearing the interest burden.

Congress member and TPCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy previously said in the Assembly that the Congress party is preparing a report on such cases and alleged that at least 35 lakh farmers in the State had borne the interest burden.

Reacting to this, the Chief Minister urged the Opposition to share any information they have and then the government would respond to it.
