With Telangana Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Kadiyam Srihari directing the officials to stay the admission process until a report is submitted by the Tirupathi Rao committee, few schools in Hyderabad have postponed admissions.

Despite the Minister's instructions, few schools were conducting admissions. Others, however have stalled the admission process and sent messages to all the parents stating that admissions have been postponed.

Admissions will be held in accordance with the schedule announced by the state government. The Tirupathi Rao committee will be submitting its report by November 15 and a draft policy is expected to be framed for school fee regulation. The committee's major recommendation is fee constitution of regulatory committees in all districts.
