Children's day Celebrations turned tragic with the unexpected incident of a three-year-old boy getting killed after falling into a sump at his school.
The boy, Shiva Rakshith fell into a water sump at a children’s play school in Shivapuri Colony in Malkajgiri, Hyderabad on Tuesday afternoon.
The mishap took place when the children were playing in the school premises. The boy's parents lashed out at the school management over their negligence and held them responsible for their son's death.
Sources say that the water sump is on the way the students enter into school and today it was kept open due to which the boy fell into it and lost his life.
A case has been registered in this regard and the SHO of Malkajgiri, Janaki Reddy who visited the spot observed that the incident happened due to school management’s negligence. She added that they have started the investigation.
