BJP will come to power in 2019 elections: Venkateshwar Rao

Hyderabad : Telangana BJP Vice-President and ex-MLA S. Venkateshwar Rao said that the Bharatiya Janata Party was all set to come to power in the State in 2019 elections.

In an informal chat with media persons at Telangana BJP Headquarters on Thursday, Venkateshwar Rao said that many top leaders of different parties in the State would be joining the party after Gujarat elections. He said BJP was the only alternative to TRS in Telangana State. He said while BJP would retain power at the Centre, it will also sweep Assembly elections in Telangana.

Commenting on Kodangal MLA A. Revanth Reddy's entry into Congress party, he said that the ex-TDP leader was being played like a football in Congress party.
