The Telangana government is conducting the World Telugu Conference from December 15 to 19.

The Chief Minister is keen to utilize the Conference as a platform to create awareness on Telangana culture across the world.

Recalling that the Telugu language was kept alive in Telangana in various forms, including art forms such as Bathukamma and folk songs, KCR informed the officials to organize the conference on a grand scale, instructing them to hold cultural programmes in the Telugu language at LB Stadium besides arrangements for visitors.

He further directed the officials to invite Telugu language experts, writers, prominent poets, and representatives of various Telugu organizations from India and abroad.

KCR further instructed the officials to decorate Hyderabad for the World Telugu Conference by erecting welcome arches reflecting the Telugu culture, play Telugu songs of various forms along with organizing platforms to showcase various forms of Telugu literature and art.
