Telangana considering proposal to set up Medical Recruitment Board

Health Minister C Laxma Reddy announced that the Telangana government is considering a proposal to set up a Medical Recruitment Board.

Responding to a question raised by BJP MLAs K Laxman, NVSS Prabhakar and G Kishan Reddy during Question Hour in the Legislative Assembly in Hyderabad, he said that the government is going to set up a Directorate to look after nurses’ education, vacant posts and their promotions.

The Minister said that currently all the existing vacancies are being filled either on contract or outsourcing basis and nursing services were being utilized without any inconvenience to patients and hospital administration.
