The BJP delegation told the Governor that people and pilgrims have been demanding to construct a reservoir over the hillock and fill with Godavari river water. However, no action has come from the government so far and requested Narasimhan to direct the government to take necessary steps to address the issue immediately.

Also, raising the issue of the land oustees of Mid Manair Dam(MMD), the delegation said that the project displaced people have not received the compensation to their lands and structures for last 20 years. The State government made promised to address the issue but till date, the same has not complied as promised, they pointed out.
