The Telangana government is all set to inaugurate the Hyderabad Metro Rail on November 28 and it has now, received an approval from the Commissioner for Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) which has issued authorization for the opening of the Mettuguda to SR Nagar via Ameerpet Interchange Metro Station route.

The Telangana government is all set to inaugurate the Hyderabad Metro Rail on November 28 and it has now, received an approval from the Commissioner for Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) which has issued authorization for the opening of the Mettuguda to SR Nagar via Ameerpet Interchange Metro Station route.

With this move, the Metro trains from Nagole to Miyapur via the Ameerpet Interchange Metro Station will have a consistent operation.

In a statement, the L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Limited (LTMRHL) announced CMRS team from the Railway Safety Commission had inspected the works of the Hyderabad Metro Rail, and even conducted speed trials on the Metro train for three days from November 17 to 19. Following this, the safety authorization was issued for the opening of Mettuguda to SR Nagar via Ameerpet Interchange Metro Station.

The complete stretch from Nagole to Miyapur via Ameerpet Interchange Metro Station is set to be ready for operations by the inaugural date.
