Selfie craze turns fatal as Telangana student drowns in Uttarakhand lake

An IIT student from Nagarkurnool reportedly drowned in Uttarakhand lake. The student identified as Naren was pursuing his professional course in New Delhi.

He along with his eight friends toured Uttarakhand on Sunday but as he attempted to take a selfie along with his friends near a waterbody reservoir, he slipped and reportedly lost his life.

His body is yet to be traced and the rescue teams are working to find the body.

According to the reports, parents of Naren have rushed to the place of incident.
