The announcement was made by Minister for Cinematography Talasani Srinivas Yadav who stated that a high profile committee has already been set up in this regard.

Speaking to a leading news channel, he said that the government is ready to declare formally but some internal reasons have resulted in the postponement of the announcement.
The Minister further said that they are considering to rename the awards.
