Municipal Administration & Urban Development Minister K T Rama Rao, Home Minister Naini Narsimha Reddy, local BJP MLA Laxman and Mayor Bonthu Rammohan on Tuesday inspected civic conditions in Chikkadpally, Musheerabad, Narayanguda and other areas. They also inspected the City Central Library at Chikkadpally.
Hyderabad: Municipal Administration & Urban Development Minister K T Rama Rao, Home Minister Naini Narsimha Reddy, local BJP MLA Laxman and Mayor Bonthu Rammohan on Tuesday inspected civic conditions in Chikkadpally, Musheerabad, Narayanguda and other areas. They also inspected the City Central Library at Chikkadpally.
Speaking on the occasion, Rama Rao said the State government would allocate Rs 5 crore for reconstructing the Chikkadpally library, including providing a modern digital library and skill development centre. The library would also provide required facilities for candidates preparing for competitive examinations, he said, adding that the library would also have all the facilities required for candidates preparing for competitive
examinations.
Exhorting the unemployed youth not to get worried about jobs, Rama Rao said notifications would be released soon for filling vacant posts. He also made it clear that as promised by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) manifesto, the State government would certainly initiate steps for recruiting 1.2 lakh youth. Narasimha Reddy said the vacant space at Domalguda market would be used for construction of a municipal circle office. The market at Chikkadpally would be dismantled and a modem five-floor market would be built there, he said.
A cement concrete retaining wall would be constructed flanking the nala from Marriott Hotel to the Musi river and a separate pipeline would be laid to ensure sewage near Marriott Hotel did not flow into the Hussainsagar, he added. Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav and senior officials also accompanied Rama Rao during the inspection of various development projects in the city.
