Ivanka Trump’s Hyderabad visit: Five-tier security, bullet proof car & sniper rifles deployed

US President Donald Trump’s daughter and advisor to the White House, Ivanka Trump who is all set to visit Hyderabad for a high-profile entrepreneurship conference, the Global Entrepreneurship Summit will have a five-tier security ring around her. During her three-day visit, Ivanka will also attend a dinner hosted by the Telangana government and the five-tier security will also be in place at the Falaknuma Palace.

According to the police sources, the US Secret Service will be in charge of the first two security rings, closest to Ivanka while the third layer of security will be provided by India’s Special Protection Group (SPG). The fourth and fifth layers will be under Telangana police’s Intelligence Security Wing who are trained in counter-terror operations along with Cyberabad police.

The commandos are learned to be armed with Russian-made Dragunov sniper rifles.

Telangana's Greyhound (anti-naxalite force) and Octopus (anti-terror) commando teams are positioned at Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC), Falaknuma Palace and Miyapur for the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) for the security of Ivanka Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi who will inaugurate the summit on November 28.

Among other security arrangements, the US Secret Services for the security of Ivanka Trump is sending three bulletproof and mine-resistant Limousines via a flight to India for her travel within Hyderabad, besides carrying their own specialized weapons and bringing squads of trained sniffer dogs.
