GE Summit: Police conduct Cordon & Search around Falaknuma Palace
In view of visit of Prime Minister Narender Modi and Advisor to US President Ivanka Trump to the Falaknuma Palace as part of Global Entrepreneurship Summit, the South Zone police on Friday conducted Cordon & Search Operations in the Falaknuma Police limits.
Hyderabad : In view of visit of Prime Minister Narender Modi and Advisor to US President Ivanka Trump to the Falaknuma Palace as part of Global Entrepreneurship Summit, the South Zone police on Friday conducted Cordon & Search Operations in the Falaknuma Police limits.
Police officials including Additional DCP, ACsP of Falaknuma, Santosh Nagar and Mirchowk, 18 Circle Inspector, 39 Sub-Inspectors, 250 other officials and 5 Platoons and women force conducted Cordon and Search Operation in the localities of Madina Colony, Bibi Ka Chashma, Vatepally under the limits of Falaknuma PS between 05:30 am to 08:30 am today. These two bordering colonies to Falaknuma Palace were left over in the last search operation.
E-Finger Prints Recognition Device and “HYDCOPS APP” were used in this search operation. With the help of this device police verified the finger prints of the persons moving in suspicious circumstance in the cordoned locality without causing the disturbance to the locality people.
During the search operation 60 persons were taken into custody and verified their finger prints with E- Finger prints recognition device through which 14 suspects were identified and verifying their complicity. Eight Rowdy Sheeters were also taken into custody and two non-bailable warrants were executed.
During the search operations two Omani Nationals were caught by the police. According to their visa, they came to India on medical visa to treatment. It seems to be that they came for contract marriage.
In the course of this Cordon & Search operation, police used Geo-tagging in keeping view of the innocent public and not to disturb or create any inconvenience to the common public.
Police seized 51 two wheelers, 3 Autos and 2 Four wheelers and verifying the documents which were found in suspicious condition without Number Plates and documents.
Speaking to the media persons, DCP South Zone V. Satyanarayana said that in view of global security for the representatives, the inner part of the event would be looked after by the Special Protection Group, US Secret service and outer portion of the palace, 3rd level, 4th level and 5th level of outer peripheral and route bandobust will be taken care by the Telangana State Police.
In the last two days of the event, OCTOPUS officials would do foot patrolling along with the sideline/outer peripheral of Palace. Telangana state ISW & City Police CSW will be inspecting the total areas to make no suspicious persons found or any other country citizens (foreigners) will not be allowed to stay.
The DCP said that the community people were very supportive to the police in conducting the cordon and search operation and police conducted this operation on their requests. Community people are pompous about the VVIPs from all over the world visiting to Old City of Hyderabad, he said.
