With a couple of days left for the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES), elaborate security measures are being put in place with around 10,400 security personnel deployed across Hyderabad.

With a couple of days left for the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES), elaborate security measures are being put in place with around 10,400 security personnel deployed across Hyderabad.

Speaking to the media on Sunday, Director General of Police, M Mahender Reddy said that all the routes leading to the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC), Falaknuma Hotel and Golkonda Fort would be monitored by nine different teams.

He informed that the teams include traffic, civil, Telangana State Special Police, City Armed Reserve, Octopus, Greyhounds, Dog Squad, Anti Sabotage Checks and City Security Wing/Intelligence Security Wing.

The DGP, however, asserted that the security measures have been planned to ensure minimised inconvenience for public and urged the citizens to extend their support to make this prestigious event a success.
