KCR thanks Stalin for support on enhancement of quota
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Monday thanked DMK Working President and Opposition leader MK Stalin for extending his support to uphold Social Justice and for fighting for more powers to states.
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Monday thanked DMK Working President and Opposition leader MK Stalin for extending his support to uphold Social Justice and for fighting for more powers to states.
MK Stalin welcomed KCR’s efforts to enhance reservations for minorities and scheduled tribes in a press release stating that the DMK had ensured success in securing 69 percent reservation in Tamil Nadu.
He further extended his support to the Telangana Chief Minister in the percentage of reservations to the underprivileged and deserving sections and for delegation of powers to the States in this regard.
KCR in response spoke to Mr Stalin over the phone on Monday morning and thanked him for his gesture.
During the recent session of the Legislature, the Chief Minister reiterated his appeal to the Centre to increase reservations to SCs, STs, and minorities by delegating powers to the states.
