Ivanka Trump, the daughter of US President Donald Trump, who led a delegation of US entrepreneurs and investors, arrived in the city in the early hours to attend the three-day Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) which began on a grand scale in the city on Tuesday. Hyderabad: Ivanka Trump, the daughter of US President Donald Trump, who led a delegation of US entrepreneurs and investors, arrived in the city in the early hours to attend the three-day Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) which began on a grand scale in the city on Tuesday. Ivanka Trump's 350-member delegation includes top administration officials and a large number of Indian-Americans.

Amid tight security, Ivanka, clad in black and white designer jacket, and accompanied by her husband Jared Kushner and other White House officials landed at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad.

Since Ivanka is Adviser to US President, she was accorded a warm welcome by the US, India and Telangana State officials. US Ambassador to India Kenneth Juster, US consul General in Hyderabad Katherine B Hadda, NITI Ayog CEO Amitabh Kant, Telangana State Industry and Commerce Secretary Jayesh Ranjan, Additional DGP (Law and Order) Anjani Kumar and others were among the officials received Ivanka at the airport.

The Ivanka's cavalcade drove straight to the Hotel Trident at Madhapur, where she would stay for two days. Earlier, Ivanka was stay in Westin Hotel in Rheja Mind Space. It was changed in the last minute due to some security reasons.

More than 10,000 security personnel were deployed and security arrangements were reviewed by the Special Protection Group as well as the US Secret Service.
