Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao while speaking at the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES-2017) on Tuesday said that Telangana has become the most favoured destination for investors.

He said Telangana is the youngest state and under its industrial promotion policy -- TS-iPASS -- the state gives approvals within 15 days for setting up companies. The unique feature of the policy is that in case the approval does not come in 15 days, it is deemed to have been given. Telangana has been ranked No 1 state in the country in Ease of Doing Business rankings given by the Government of India and the World Bank jointly.

He also said that majors such as Apple, Google, Microsoft, Facebook and Amazon have their offices in Hyderabad. Explaining the growth, KCR said 5,469 industrial units have invested USD17.5 billion creating 4,00,000 jobs in Telangana state.

The T-hub has turned into a major attraction with the creation of an eco-system that is playing a catalyst role in nourishing young minds. The Chief Minister signed off saying that the summit would come up with new plans and ideas and called on the delegates not to miss the signature dish of Hyderabad - Hyderabad biryani.
