Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh’s wife and Heritage Foods Executive Director Nara Brahmani, cine actor Ram Charan Tej’s wife and Apollo Foundation Vice-Chairperson Upasana and cine actor Mohan Babu’s daughter Manchu Laxmi participated in the inaugural programme of Global Entrepreneurship Summit-2017 at the Hyderabad International Conventional Centre (HICC) Madhapur here on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Nara Brahmani expressed hope that the Summit would instil confidence in the women entrepreneurs. She said women had less encouragement in small organisations. A woman director must be in every organisation, she stressed and opined that women would get good results if they were given full freedom. The summit was important and there was a need to debate on the problems being faced by women.

Women needed inspiration and it would be known once again with this summit that the women had many opportunities across the world, she said. “I think women would get support from this summit. Women are getting support from the State governments. They have to grow in every organisation and it should be started from villages,” she opined. Upasana said women needed encouragement.

The Andhra Pradesh and Telangana State governments were giving top priority to women and their policies were useful and encouragement to women, she stated and informed that they were giving top priority to women in Apollo Groups. Women change the conditions of the world in case chances were given to them, she opined. Manchu Laxmi said she was happy with her participation in the summit. “One can learn a lot by meeting VIPs in the summits like GES. I got an opportunity to speak with all here,” she stated.
