Telangana IT Minister K T Rama Rao received thumbs up for his performance as a moderator. KTR, as he is popularly known, acted as moderator for a plenary session on ‘We can do it! Innovations in workforce development and skills training’, kicking off the session on the second day of the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) here on Wednesday.
Hyderabad: Telangana IT Minister K T Rama Rao received thumbs up for his performance as a moderator. KTR, as he is popularly known, acted as moderator for a plenary session on ‘We can do it! Innovations in workforce development and skills training’, kicking off the session on the second day of the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) here on Wednesday.
The panel consisted of Ivanka Trump, the eldest daughter of US President Donald Trump and his advisor, Cherie Blair, the wife of former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair and chairperson of Cherie Blair Foundation for Women, Chanda Kochhar, MD & CEO, ICICI Bank and Karen Quintos, Chief Customer Officer, Dell EMC.
With global heavyweights like Ivanka Trump and Cherie Blair being in the discussion panel, the Telangana IT Minister, also the son of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, began by saying that as he was moderating for the first time, any nervousness on his part may be excused. However, he handled the debate like a seasoned moderator for which he received appreciation even from NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant.
Kant said KTR did a wonderful moderation in the morning (of Wednesday). “It was by far the best moderation. Four of the world’s brilliant women were on the panel. He did the moderation with ease. It’s a learning experience for all of us. See the perfection with which he moderated them. It was absolutely brilliant,” Kant said at the GES event in the afternoon.
