Adilabad records lowest temp at 7 degrees Celsius
Adilabad recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 7 degrees Celsius on Thursday, although there was no large change in the temperatures across the State during the last 24 hours. The temperatures were appreciably below normal by 3.10 to 5 degrees Celsius at one or two places, the Met Department bulletin said.

The other night temperatures recorded in the State were: Bhadrachalam, Medak and Khammam 13 each, Hakimpet 14, Ramagundam 15, Hyderabad 16, Hanamkonda and Nizamabad 17 each, Mahbubnagar and Nalgonda 18 each.
The low-pressure area over the Malay Peninsula and adjoining south Andaman Sea with associated upper air cyclonic circulation extending up to 5.8 km above the mean sea level is persisting. It is very likely to become a well-marked low pressure area over the south Andaman Sea and its neighbourhood during the next 24 hours. Subsequently, it is likely to move west-north westwards and concentrate into a depression.
