The Telangana State government has informed the High Court at Hyderabad that it has granted permission to the TJAC to hold its Koluvulakai Kotlata rally on December 4 in Hyderabad. As is known, TJAC chairman Prof Kodandaram approached the High Court after the police rejected the application of TJAC to hold its rally on November 30.

Hyderabad: The Telangana State government has informed the High Court at Hyderabad that it has granted permission to the TJAC to hold its Koluvulakai Kotlata rally on December 4 in Hyderabad. As is known, TJAC chairman Prof Kodandaram approached the High Court after the police rejected the application of TJAC to hold its rally on November 30.

The police informed the court that it had no objection to grant permission for holding the rally on any day other day, except November 30, December 1 and 6. The Special Government Pleader for Telangana State government S Sharat Kumar informed Justice S V Bhatt that the police had granted permission for holding the rally on December 4. The counsel for the petitioner B Rachna Reddy also confirmed that the permission had been granted. Recording these submissions, the judge disposed of the writ petition.
