Payment via T-wallet at toll plazas on ORR

After the launch of Radio Frequency Identification Device (RFID) tag from Nanakramguda to Shamshabad toll plaza on Outer Ring Road (ORR), the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) officials are now contemplating to install T-wallet payment method at all the toll plazas on ORR.Â
Hyderabad: After the launch of Radio Frequency Identification Device (RFID) tag from Nanakramguda to Shamshabad toll plaza on Outer Ring Road (ORR), the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) officials are now contemplating to install T-wallet payment method at all the toll plazas on ORR.
A senior HMDA official told The Hans India that department was planning to set up T-wallet payment method at all toll plazas on ORR as it would help commuters move fast and relieve them from tendering change at the plaza. He further added that the T-wallet commuters can pay through cash, Paytm, debit card and recently-launched RFID.
Earlier, the RFID system under Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) was launched on ORR at Nanakramguda.
