TRS leaders invite public ire for using students for party meet

Bhongir: Infuriated over Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leaders using students to make Energy Minister Jagadish Reddy’s Bhongir tour a success, parents and local residents demanded action against the leaders who forced the students to wear pink shawls and attend the meeting.

Jagadish Reddy was in Bhongir on Friday to inaugurate Ambedkar Bhavan in the town. TRS leaders covered pink shawls on the shoulders of the first year B Sc students of the local Nursing College and made them attend the function in their efforts to make Minister’s programme a success. The parents alleged that many of those were minors and demanded that the police take action against those responsible for the act.
