Hyderabad : Telangana Political Joint Action Committee (TJAC) has threatened to intensify agitation if TRS Government fails to provide jobs to unemployed youth in the State.

Addressing the 'Koluvulakai Kotlaata' (fight for jobs) meeting at Saroornagar Stadium on Monday, TJAC Chairman Prof. M. Kodandaram alleged that the TRS Government has failed to provide jobs to the youth. He said those raising voice against the government's failures were being harassed by implicating them in false cases. He said the government was not even permitting any organising to hold a meeting and the TJAC was able to conduct 'Koluvulakai Kotlaata' only after the intervention of High Court. He said despite having permission for the meeting, police took over 2,000 students and youth into custody to prevent them from participating in the meeting.

Kodandaram Raj said despite obstacles created by TRS Government and police, the 'Koluvulakai Kotlaata' meeting was a grand success.

The meeting was also addressed by leaders of all opposition parties. They include Congress leaders T. Jeevan Reddy and Dr. Dasoju Sravan, BJP leader Chintala Ramchander Rao, CPI leader Chada Venkat Reddy, educationists Chukka Ramaiah, Vemula Akka and other leaders. They demanded that the government immediately fill all vacancies to honour its promise.

Elaborate security arrangements were made both inside and outside the stadium.
