Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari said the State government will issue a new GO to fill the teachers’ posts on the basis of the erstwhile ten districts. Addressing media after a meeting with the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) Secretary A Vani Prasad and Special Chief Secretary (Education) Rajeev R Acharya and other senior officials, the Minister said the TSPSC will soon issue the recruitment notifications for the same. He said earlier the State government had issued GO on the basis of 31 districts for the benefit of the unemployed youth in the agency and backward districts of the State.

However, following the directions of the State High Court, a fresh notification will be issued on basis of 10 districts. But, the government has credible information that some people are preparing to go to the State High Court again, whether the government issues notification either for 10 or 31 districts to fill the teacher vacancies, he said.

Srihari said the government knows about the leaders behind Koluvula Kotlata. But, the government decided to fill the 1, 08,000 vacancies by August 2018, he said and added that a recruitment calendar will be notified soon and reiterated the commitment given by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to fill the vacancies as promised.

Srihari called that the suicide of students is unfortunate and appealed that they fight for the cause and win and not to resort to the extreme step. Taking a dig at the Opposition, Srihari said no government would support suicides and asked them not to politicise the suicide of the students.

Referring to the suicide incident that took place in the Osmania University on Sunday, he said it is easy to figure out the suicide note and the handwriting of the deceased to know whether the note is fake or real. He said the unity of the parties with different ideologies shows that they are not backed by people, he said.
