Black Day being observed in Old City, security heightened

With few political parties and religious institutions observing Black Day on Wednesday, the police officials have made elaborate security arrangements in the old city of Hyderabad in order to avoid communal clashes and any untoward incidents.

The Black Day is being observed to commemorate the demolition of Babri Masjid. The police have already warned against taking out rallies and public meetings in the Old City.
Police have even imposed Sec 144 until Thursday evening with 3,500 cops deployed for security in sensitive localities of the old city.
