Hyderabad: Communist Party of India (CPI) State Secretary Chada Venkat Reddy alleged that the ‘Sangh Parivar’ atrocities across the nation were increasing and stated that the State government was following the footsteps of the Centre. He was speaking at the CPI’s second State Mahasabha preparatory meeting at Basheerbagh Press Club here on Tuesday. Chada said the people had brought several issues to the notice of CPI during Poruyatra.

He remarked that the government was afraid of Poruyatra and called upon the youth to get ready for another movement for the development of the State. He alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s government was adopting dictatorial, undemocratic policies and said the CPI will fight against the government atrocities. He said they will reach the people with the slogan ‘Palle Palleku CPI- Prajala Vaddaku CPI’ and stated that they will rename the party as movements’ party.

He called upon the party activists and leaders to make the Mahasabha, which will be held in April next year, a big success. He alleged that K Chandrashekar Rao was extending his support to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and added that the Sangh Parivar attacks were on increase against Minorities. Former MP Aziz Pasha said they will conduct Mahasabha on a grand note considering it as a prestigious event.

He said there was no meaning to the democracy when there was no Opposition and made it clear that they will teach a fitting lesson to K Chandrashekar Rao. Palla Venkat Reddy, Puvvada Nageswara Rao, Gunda Mallesh, Pashya Padma, Mallepally Adhi Reddy, N Bala Mallesh, Erla Narsimha, VS Bose, ET Narsimha were also present at the meeting.
