A 26-year-old Chennai-based software engineer has been arrested by the Cyberabad police for tarnishing the image of his former colleague by sharing her details on dating and porn websites.
A 26-year-old Chennai-based software engineer has been arrested by the Cyberabad police for tarnishing the image of his former colleague by sharing her details on dating and porn websites.
The accused, P Sandeep Kumar Gupta hails from Kurnool and resides in DLF Garden City of Semmenchery in Chennai.
He fell in love with his colleague four years ago while they were working in Hyderabad but she refused to marry him and subsequently married another man.
However, after hearing the news of her marriage, Sandeep created a fake Facebook account with the victim's name and sent abusive messages to her friends and relatives further posting her personal details on dating and porn websites.
Sandeep even created a blog containing her contact information and obscene content.
The victim lodged a complaint with the police on Monday and the police have remanded him to judicial custody.
