Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leaders lashed out at Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) Chief Prof Kodandaram for targeting Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao at Koluvulakai Kotlata meeting. The TRS leaders alleged that Koluvulakai Kotlata was used as a medium to spit venom on K Chandrashekar Rao and his family members.

Addressing a press conference here along with MP Balka Suman, government whip P Rajeshwar Reddy alleged that the meeting was used to spit venom on the Chief Minister and his family members. The leaders said the abuse by the JAC leaders would turn into a blessing for the TRS.

Terming the meeting as an utter flop, Rajeshwar Reddy said the unemployed youth did not believe in Kodandaram and his gang. “The youth got to know through the JAC’s meeting that this was not for them but for some politically unemployed leaders of some parties and organisations. Instead of raising the issue of unemployed youth, these leaders used un-parliamentary language against the Chief Minister and his family members,” he said. K Chandrashekar Rao, Harish Rao, K T Rama Rao and Kavitha are not like the nominated leaders of the Congress. They have participated in agitations, faced cases and also went to jail for the people, he said.

The TRS leader alleged that the Congress and Kodandaram gang were behind the court cases against regularisation of outsourcing employees of Energy Department and in Singareni. The TRS leader said the government will fill over 1.12 lakh posts by August 2018. On the JAC leader’s question as to where K Chandrashekar Rao was, Rajeshwar Reddy said the Chief Minister was in the hearts of the people. Rajeshwar Reddy said the OU student, who committed suicide, was unable to bear the stress of studies and this was mentioned in his suicide note.

He alleged that it was unfortunate that the JAC leaders were politicising the death of students. He took exception to the comments made by Kodandaram that Murali committed suicide because of unemployment issue. MP Suman alleged that the JAC Chief was acting on behest of the Congress. He said that it was not the Telangana political JAC but a JAC of Kodandaram. He suggested that the Opposition not play cheap politics by backing Kodandaram.
