Youngsters in age group of 21 to 30 yrs top drunk and drive offenders list

Youngsters in the age group of 21 to 30 years are in the top of the drunk and drive offenders’ list in Hyderabad.

According to the statistics of the city traffic police, 38.07 percent of those who are caught during the checks are in the age group of 21 to 30 years.

Also, the victims in this age group are learned to be more prone to accidents. Further, women are being served liquor in violation of norms at various pubs, bars, and restaurants.

Despite the incidents of woman violating traffic rules have increased in the city, the staff crunch in the traffic police wing has prevented the policemen from checking on women offenders resulting in only 54 cases have been registered against women traffic violators.
