North coastal districts to receive heavy rainfall due to Cylone Ockhi

Due to the deep depression over the Central of Bay of Bengal, north coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh are likely to receive heavy rainfall.
According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the Cyclone Ockhi will maintain its intensity in the next 12 hours which in turn will result in heavy rainfall at Srikakulam, Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam districts.
The fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea while local cautionary signals were issued at Visakhapatnam, Machilipatnam, Kalingapatnam, Bheemunipatnam, Kakinada, Gangavaram, and Krishnapatnam ports.
