Drunk driving: 54 persons sent to jail
54 people were sentenced to imprisonment by the III and IV Metropolitan Magistrate, Erramanzil on the charges of drunk and driving with them being sent to Chanchalguda Jail.

Driving licence of two offenders has been permanently cancelled and licences of thirteen others, suspended.
All the 54 convicts were ordered to pay fine of Rs 93,68,00.434 persons were charged in December for drunken driving and police produced them in the Court on Saturday.
The police informed that those caught and convicted in these cases would face difficulties in getting government jobs, passport and visa clearance.
The police added that the drunken driving initiative is being continued to curb Traffic violations and for the safety of commuters on the roads.
