A recorded phone conversation came to light on Sunday of a TRS legislator from Nakrekal, Vemula Veeresham, threatening a bank official.

The audio which has now gone viral has a local politician identifying himself as Narketpalli MPP connecting the phone to the bank official saying that the MLA wants to speak to him.

Later, the MLA questions the official, CEO of District Cooperative Central Bank (DCCB) Nalgonda regarding a file that had not been cleared despite his assurance.

While the official pointed out that the clearance of the file is possible only after the bank chairman’s signature, the MLA warns him not to take the chairman's name and further quotes bylaws of the bank stating that the file will need only CEO to make the final decision.

Also, the conversation includes the MLA warning the bank official of filing a bribery case against him if the work is not done in the given time.The audio conversation ends with the MLA warning him that if the file is not cleared, it would take him less than 30 minutes to catch up with him.
