Rachakonda Police arrested a thief and seized 510-gram gold ornaments.The accused, E Mahender resided in Subramanyam Colony, Saidabad and was an addict thief.
He used to attend various functions as an invitee and steal valuable articles. On October 4th, he went to a function hall located at Nagole crossroads and stole the bag of ornaments worth Rs. 16 lakh.
Later, he mortgaged these ornaments with Muthoot Finance.The police nabbed him with the help of CCTV footage.
