The Congress party on Monday addressed a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan in Hyderabad where they demanded a judicial probe into the incident of alleged suicide of Osmania University student E Murali.

Holding TRS government responsible for the same, Deputy CLP leader T Jeevan Reddy and TPCC chief spokesperson Dr. Dasoju Sravan demanded a case be booked against Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for the incident.

Citing TRS election promise of promising one lakh jobs, the Congress leaders said that not even 20,000 vacancies were filled even after three-and-a-half years of governance.
Stating that the students and youth were disappointed with the present government over the jobs,

the party leaders further condemned the police action in the premises of Osmania University and illegal arrest of 27 students following the student’s suicide.
The Congress leaders demanded an ex-gratia of Rs. 50 lakh to the family members of Murali apart from providing a government job to a family member.
