Woman ends life in Hyderabad, family allege dowry harassment

A 25-year-old woman hanged herself to death at her residence in Bharatnagar under the Chaitanyapuri police station limits on Monday morning.

According to the reports, the woman, Lavanya got married to Anand in August this year.
Lavanya’s family alleged that she was being tortured by her husband and in-laws for additional dowry and she took the extreme step unable to bear the harassment.

Police informed that she committed suicide when the family members were not at home.
A case has been registered and the investigation is on.
