4,000 medical, paramedical vacancies to be filled soon

Hyderabad: The State government on Monday sanctioned nearly 4,000 posts to be filled in Telangana Vaidya Vidhana Parishad.

Out of 3,943 sanctioned posts, 2,400 doctors’ posts in various ranks will be filled in the government hospitals run by the Vidhana Parishad. As many as 1,191 civil assistant surgeons, 685 deputy civil surgeons, 483 chief surgeons (RMO), 12 dental civil surgeons, 16 deputy dental surgeons and 10 dental assistant surgeons will be appointed.

In the paramedical category, 162 head staff nurses, 565 staff nurses, 126 midwives, 152 lab technicians, 52 pharmacists Grade-2, 45 physiotherapists and 44 junior analysts will be appointed. The rest of the posts will be filled in the administrative division in the Parishad.

State Medical and Health Department will furnish the details of direct recruitment vacancies out of the sanctioned posts for issue of orders to the concerned recruiting agency soon, a government order said.
