According to the reports, the accused, Vijay Kumar, who reportedly works as the director of Christ Gospel Team in Hyderabad made derogatory remarks against Bharat Mata and a case has been registered against him in this regard.In his speech, he reportedly said, “How many husbands does Bharat Mata have? Three crores.”

The complaint was filed by T Kunal Rao, a businessman who heard Vijay’s speech and then lodged a complaint at a local police station.

A case under Sections 153-A (Promoting enmity between different groups on ground of religion, race, place), 295-A (Deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered.
