Hyderabad residents have taken up protests against the Telangana government's proposal to construct the new secretariat at Bison polo ground in the city.
Scores of residents submitted an online complaint against the move. The activists contend that Bison polo ground is one of the few green pastures left in Hyderabad.
They further questioned Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao as to how the construction would go ahead when a case is pending in the High Court against any construction in the Bison and Gymkhana grounds.
